Southwest Western Lifestyle Photography
There’s something timeless about the Western way of life—the grit, the grace, the quiet strength found in everyday moments. At Richard Field Levine Photography, we’ve dedicated our work to capturing that spirit as it naturally unfolds through Western Lifestyle Photography in New Mexico and across the American West.
With over 40 years behind the lens, we’ve learned that the most meaningful images aren’t staged—they’re lived. They happen in the dust of a working ranch, in the stillness between horse and rider, and in the unspoken connection between people, land, and tradition.
Our Journey
Our journey has always been rooted in storytelling.
Traveling full-time as a Western lifestyle photographer, we follow the rhythm of ranch life—honoring the traditions of the vaquero, cowboy, and cowgirl. From ranches in New Mexico to open desert landscapes in Arizona and the deep-rooted heritage of California, we document authentic moments that define the Western way of life.
As a TravelingRanch and Rodeo Photographer, we capture the distinctive essence of those who live this lifestyle every day. Each photograph reflects more than a moment—it tells a story shaped by heritage, hard work, and identity.
Whether we’re photographing a Branding, Rodeo, Livestock, or everyday ranch life, our goal is to preserve the authenticity of the experience.
Our Vision & Commitment
We believe photography should evoke something deeper—something that goes beyond what is seen and reaches into what is felt.
Our perspective as a Western Lifestyle and Rodeo Photographer is shaped by decades of experience and a desire to see familiar scenes in new ways. Whether we’re capturing a quiet morning on a ranch or the intensity of a PRCA Rodeo, we aim to create imagery that inspires emotion, connection, and a lasting sense of place.
We are equally committed to delivering refined, professional Western photography that exceeds expectations. Every image is created with intention—from composition to timing—ensuring that creativity and authenticity are present in every frame.
We focus on the details that define this lifestyle:
- The dust rising behind a horse in motion
- The strength and stillness of a working rancher
- The bond between horse and rider
These are the elements that make Western Lifestyle Photography powerful—not perfection, the real deal ....
As experienced Ranch, and Rodeo Photographers, we understand the importance of capturing moments as they naturally unfold. Our work is guided by a deep respect for the people, traditions, and environments we photograph.
We strive to create imagery that:
- Honors Western heritage
- Reflects real life on The Ranch
- Preserves meaningful moments for generations
What Makes Our Work Unique
Our style is best described as freeform, artistic, and candid Western photography.
We don’t force moments—we allow them to unfold naturally. This approach creates images that feel honest, unfiltered, and deeply connected to real life.
Our work blends:
- Documentary Western Lifestyle Photography
- Fine Art, Ranch, and Equine Photography
- Natural, candid storytelling
As a New Mexico Western Lifestyle Photographer, we specialize in capturing:
- Ranch life and branding photography
- Rodeo and PRCA events
- Horses and horsemanship
- Families, individuals, and livestock
Every image is created to feel timeless and true to the Western experience.

Tzila "Z" Duenzl - This is wonderful! FYI: Parker County, Texas (where I reside) is the cutting horse capital of the country (world?), I believe. It's BIG here (Taylor Sheridan has a ranch here, for what that's worth). I'm surrounded by cutting ranches, and have met a few of the hands.
